Has Your Page Background Disappeared?
Some of you are wondering where on earth your page background has disappeared to. If you aren't, well just ignore this! Some of you now have a "This content is private" message over a white background being displayed as your background rather than your usual photo. This also applies to any photo thumbnails that may be missing on your page. To see if this is happening on your page, logout and visit your page as a guest. If it's not a problem, then you have nothing to worry about.

For those of you who are missing your background, here's how to fix the problem:

Go to your Library and locate the folder that your background and image headers are in. This folder is probably marked private. Click the folder title and the settings will appear in the right column (see below).

If your folder says Private here, click the change link and set it to Public. The folder with your background images must be public in order for your background and headers to be viewed on your page. This should solve the disappearing background problem if you're having it!
